At Cottesbrooke Infant & Nursery School, we are proud to have a strong, dedicated team leading our work around emotional wellbeing, mental health and pastoral support.
Our Wellbeing Team works closely with staff, children and families to:
Promote positive mental health across the school
Identify and support children who may be struggling
Build strong relationships with families
Provide targeted emotional support where needed
Coordinate whole-school training, approaches and policy
Here are the members of our team and their roles:
Mr W Loughlin – Head Teacher, Lead Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Mental Health First Aider
Mr F Ahmed – Deputy Head Teacher, DSL, SENDCo, Mental Health First Aider
Mrs H Hadley – Pastoral Manager, DSL, Mental Health First Aider, ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)
Mrs K Gray – Mental Health Lead (strategic oversight and development)
Mrs A Aylin – Mental Health First Aider
Mrs J Khan – Mental Health First Aider
Mrs M Chadwick – PSHE Subject Lead (curriculum for personal, social, health and emotional education)
We take a whole-school approach to wellbeing — all staff have a role to play, and every child is known, noticed and supported.
