🤝 Family Support

At Cottesbrooke Infant & Nursery School, we know that children thrive when families are supported.

This page brings together trusted links and services that offer help with:

  • Parenting and behaviour

  • SEND and additional needs

  • Mental health and wellbeing

  • Financial and housing support

  • Domestic abuse and safeguarding

If you’re ever unsure where to turn, please speak to a member of staff — we’re here to help.

A range of support is available from Birmingham City Council

Support includes:

  • family support
  • advice and guidance, including linking to food banks
  • connecting families to the professionals who can support them and coordinate the help
  • supporting early help assessments - evidencing what the needs are, identifying the family strengths and finding the right solutions to support the journey of the family
  • connecting families with local community resources to help families be independent and resilient within their communities

More information can be found on this website and families can self refer HERE.
